The president of Partnership for Miami, Raúl Moas, revealed alarming figures on A Esta Hora: the county’s public school system has lost more than 100,000 students over the past two decades. Moas attributed this decline to the boom in charter schools and private education, as well as the prohibitive cost of living that is displacing families from the county.
