Nine-Month Civic Leadership Experience Unites Senior Executives to Advance a Miami that Works for All

MIAMI, FL – December 3, 2025 The Partnership for Miami (PFM) today announced its recruitment for the 2026 cohort of its Fellows Program, a premier civic leadership experience. Established in 2025, the program provides Miami’s senior business leaders a structured, high-impact forum to deepen their understanding of the region’s most pressing issues.

The Program equips its fellows with a comprehensive look at the issues shaping Miami’s future through a nine-month curriculum developed by PFM board members and subject-matter experts. Through private seminars, site visits, and executive mentorship, Fellows engage directly with civic, business, and nonprofit leaders while exploring critical priorities—including public education; transportation and infrastructure; housing attainability; informed and engaged communities; and environmental stewardship.

A core component of the Fellowship is access to executive-level coaching and mentorship from global business leaders. These conversations provide participants with practical insights into effective leadership and highlight the essential role of the business community in building a more inclusive, resilient, and competitive Miami.

Applications for the 2026 Fellows Program can be submitted here. The deadline to apply is January 16, 2026. The 2026 cohort will be expanded from the inaugural 2025 program.

“We are very excited to begin the recruitment process for our second Fellows Program,” said Brandon Mitchell, Chief of Staff and Fellows Program Director for the Partnership for Miami. “The executives selected for this new cohort will grow as leaders while strengthening the civic fabric of our city. The Partnership for Miami’s mission to build a Miami that works for all would not be complete without the Fellows Program inspiring the next generation of leaders.”
