Education is key to long-term community success, Miami leaders say

 The strength of a local education system has long-term implications for a thriving community, in addition to the future of students and families.

Just ask key civic and business leaders in Miami-Dade County, who have joined forces to study local education and make recommendations for improvements.

Partnership for Miami, formed two years ago, aims to make Miami a world-class city that’s more accessible to everyone. Its latest report, Beyond the Grade, tackles the key issue of education. Other topics it is reviewing include housing and other forms of economic affordability.
